An AI Image Generator With No Watermark: What "No Strings" Actually Covers Here
By The Fellowi Team · · 6 min read

Every "free" image generator we tried before building this one charged us somewhere. Usually it was a logo in the corner of the file. Sometimes it was a public feed where our prompts sat next to strangers' work, and once it was a monthly plan nobody remembered to cancel. So when Fellowi Images was put together, the list of things we would not attach to a picture came before the list of features. This is that list, together with the limits we do keep, so you can check it against your own past mistakes.
No watermark, on any tier
No generated image carries a watermark, at any tier. That includes the cheapest one and pictures paid for with signup coins. There is no corner logo, no faint pattern across the middle and no "upgrade to remove" button. The file you download from the image studio is the file the render produced.
A test worth running on any generator: make one picture on the free or cheapest option and open it at full size before you pay for anything. A watermark that only disappears on a higher plan is still a price. It is just written in pixels.
Nothing gets published
There is no public gallery and no feed. Your generations are not shown to other users, not ranked, and not borrowed as samples for a landing page. No human moderator looks through what you make. The pictures are private to your account.
The one thing to know is that private does not mean permanent. Generated pictures age out of storage on a retention schedule, so download what you want to keep. How that works is in what happens to your generations.
No subscription to cancel
You pay in coins, per picture. Nothing renews, and nothing bills you in a month you did not use it. A new account starts with 60 free coins, which is enough to try the tiers below before spending money. The coin packages and their current prices are on the product page; we do not copy them here because a copy goes stale the day a price changes.
If a generation fails, the coins come back on their own, with no ticket and no support email. What a failed generation costs you covers when that happens, and the longer case against monthly plans is in an image generator without a subscription.
Three tiers, and what the cheap one leaves out
The studio offers three image tiers. Prices per picture, in coins:
- Budget: 1
- Standard: 40
- High: 60
Standard and High accept two paid add-ons, also in coins: prompt enhance, which turns a short prompt into a fuller one, at +10, and reference images at +10.
The budget tier is cheap because it does less, and it is better to read that here than to discover it halfway through a project. It outputs JPEG only, at one fixed quality. There is no prompt enhance, no reference images and no aspect ratio choice. When its render service is overloaded, the request fails with a clear notice and the coins are refunded automatically; it does not quietly move you to a pricier tier. Choosing between the three is covered in three image models in the studio.
What you can do with the file
Our terms place no restriction on commercial use. Sell the picture, print it, put it in client work: we take no share and ask for no credit line. The details are in commercial use of AI images.
Two caveats come with that, and no generator can write them away. Output made by a machine may not be protectable by copyright at all, and nobody can claim exclusivity over a prompt, so another user may get a similar picture from similar words. The law on this is summarised in who owns AI-generated images.
Character generation for adults is allowed for people of legal age, under the rules set out in our uncensored generator post. It lives in the same private account as everything else.
The strings we do keep
A list of what we do not attach is only honest next to the list of what we do. So, in plain terms:
- The budget tier is limited: JPEG only, one quality, no prompt enhance, no reference images, no aspect ratio choice, and it can be unavailable under load (refunded when it is).
- Pictures leave storage on a retention schedule. Download the keepers.
- We give no copyright warranty. Machine-made output may not be protectable, and nobody gets exclusivity over a prompt.
- A clean file is not a licence to use someone's likeness. If a picture is built on a real person's face, you need their permission, watermark or not.
That is the whole list. If a generator you are comparing cannot write its own version in plain language, that tells you something as well. The studio is open whenever you want to check ours.
Questions this post answers
Does Fellowi Images put a watermark on cheap or free pictures?
No. No watermark is applied on any tier, including the budget tier and pictures paid for with the free signup coins.
Can other people see the images I generate?
No. There is no public gallery or feed and no human moderator reviews generations, so your pictures stay private to your account.
Do I need a subscription to download images without a watermark?
No. You pay per picture in coins, nothing renews, and a new account starts with free signup coins.
