Your First AI Picture on Free Sign-Up Coins, Step by Step

This is the short version, written for someone who has never made an AI picture and does not want to read an essay first. Seven steps, the coins every new account starts with, and nothing to install. The longer argument for why that works is in the post about generating without a GPU.

1. Open the studio before you have an account

Go to Fellowi Images. You can look around and type a prompt as a guest. When you press the button, it asks you to create a free account instead of generating. Your prompt is saved in the browser, and after sign-up you land back in the studio with it still there.

2. Sign up with an emailed code

Enter your email. We send a six-digit code, you type it in, and you are in. There is no password to invent. That code also confirms your address, which matters: only an account with a confirmed email can generate.

3. Look at your balance

Your balance is shown just under the button. A new account starts with 60 coins. A Standard picture costs 40, a High quality one costs 60. So the free coins cover a first Standard picture with 20 to spare, or one High quality picture on its own. The button always shows the full price of what you have selected before you press it.

4. Write the prompt

Say what is in the picture, where it is, and what the light is doing. One concrete sentence beats five adjectives. If you want more than that, the prompt guide has the structure. Leave Enhance prompt quality off for this one: it adds 10 coins and rewrites your words before drawing, and on a first picture you want to see what your own sentence does.

5. Pick shape and quality

Aspect ratio: leave it on Auto or choose a shape. Quality: Standard is the one the free coins are sized for. Format: JPEG is smaller, PNG is lossless. None of these change the price except quality.

6. Press the button and wait

The studio shows progress while it works, and you can leave the page and come back. How long it takes is not a promise we make from memory: we measured it, and the real numbers are in how long a generation takes. You can run one generation at a time.

7. Download it, or get your coins back

If it worked, download it. Pictures are kept for a limited time, not forever, and the window is listed on the product facts page. If it failed, the render is retried once with a softened prompt, and if that fails too, every coin comes back to your balance. The details are in what a failed generation costs you.

What the free coins will not do

• Come twice. One grant per account. It is withheld for throwaway email domains and for a second account from the same connection shortly after the first.
• Last. After them you buy coins. There is no subscription to start, and the current prices are on /product.
• Bend the rules. Adult content is allowed for adults. Anything involving minors, sexual violence or gore is refused before a coin is taken, and there is also a daily cap on generations.
• Guarantee a keeper. A first prompt often misses. That is normal. The 20 coins left after one Standard attempt do not cover a second Standard picture, so the next try is one you buy.
