AI Disclosure

Every companion on Fellowi is an artificial intelligence - a computer program, not a real person. Companions do not have a body, a real job, a home, or a life outside your chats.

What this means

A companion can feel warm, expressive, and consistent. It can remember things you choose to share. But it is not conscious, it does not have feelings, and it will always tell you the truth about being an AI if you ask.

Our commitments

We clearly label companions as AI everywhere they appear. We never use fake "verified human" indicators, and we never design a companion to convince you it is a real person. Fellowi is intended for adults aged 18 and over.

Images and video are synthetic too

The same honesty applies to pictures. Every image and every video clip produced on Fellowi, including the photos a companion sends in chat, is generated by a machine. It is not a photograph of a real person, not a recording of a real event, and the people in it do not exist.

We do not add a visible watermark to files you generate, because they are yours to use. That places the responsibility for context on whoever publishes them: if you publish synthetic media that depicts a person, telling your audience it is synthetic may be a legal obligation on you, and it is the decent thing to do regardless.

Generating a real, identifiable person in a sexual or intimate scene is not allowed, whatever the technology makes possible.
