What to Check Before Paying for an NSFW AI Generator

Most “best NSFW AI generator” lists rank products the author never paid for, using specifications copied from marketing pages. We are not going to write another one, partly because we would be ranking ourselves.

What follows is the checklist instead: seven questions, each answerable in two minutes on any service including this one. Our answers are filled in, and the places where we come off worse are marked.

1. Where exactly do the hard limits sit?

Every service worth paying for refuses the same three things: sexual content involving minors, age-play, and non-consent. What differs is whether they say so plainly.

Vagueness here is the warning sign, not the reassurance. A service that will not state its limits precisely is either about to surprise you with a refusal in the middle of something, or is not enforcing them at all - and the second is worse, because it is the thing that gets payment processors to drop a category.

Ours: those three, named, in the top layer of the prompt so a character cannot weaken them. Everything else between consenting adults is allowed.

2. Is there a watermark, and on which tier?

The common pattern is a free tier that stamps output and a paid tier that does not. That is fine as long as you know, and annoying if you find out after you have made something you like.

Ours: no watermark at any tier, because there is no watermarking step in the pipeline. There is also no free video tier, which is the honest trade - nothing is held back, but nothing is free either. Details are in the watermark post.

3. What does one finished item actually cost?

Credit systems make this deliberately hard. Convert to your own currency, per finished image or per finished clip, before comparing anything.

Ours: a Standard image is 40 coins and High is 60. Video is per second: 125 coins a second at 720p on the turbo model, so 500 for a 4-second clip and 3,750 for the 30-second maximum. Coins start at 500 for EUR 2.99 and get about half as cheap in larger packages, so a Standard image works out around 24 cents at the entry price and roughly 11 at the top package.

4. Are failures refunded?

This is the question almost nobody asks and it can dominate the real cost. Generators fail: the vendor model rejects something, a render times out, a result comes back unusable. If each of those is charged, a cheap per-credit rate stops being cheap.

Ours: refunded automatically, in full, every time. Across every video generation we have ever run, the number charged but not refunded after a failure is zero. In the last week every failure was the vendor model declining the content, and every one was refunded.

5. How long are your files kept?

Retention cuts both ways, and which direction you want depends entirely on you. Short retention is better for privacy and worse if you treat the service as storage.

Ours: 30 days for images, video, and any start image you upload, then the bytes are deleted automatically. There is no archive tier, so download what you want to keep. That is a deliberate choice explained in the privacy write-up, and it is genuinely worse than a service that keeps things forever if what you wanted was a library.

6. Can you use the output commercially?

Check the terms, not the marketing page. Plenty of services imply commercial freedom in their copy and restrict it in the document you agreed to.

Ours: our Terms place no restriction on commercial use and we claim no ownership of what you generate. Worth separating two things, though, because plenty of pages blur them: permission from the service is not the same as holding copyright. A purely machine-made image may not be protectable at all in your country, which no generator can grant you.

7. What does it cost to find out?

The last question is the practical one. A service you cannot evaluate for under a few euros is asking you to buy on trust.

Ours: 40 coins on signup, which is exactly one Standard image - enough to see the quality, not enough to iterate, and we know that is thin. Chat has a 7-day, 30-message trial with no card. Video has no free path at all: the cheapest real test is a 4-second clip at 500 coins, about two euros.

The short version

If you only check two things, make them whether failures are charged and what the limits actually say. The first decides what you really pay; the second decides whether you get interrupted halfway through the thing you paid for.
