What Uncensored AI Chat Actually Means on Fellowi

Type “uncensored AI chat” into a search box and you will land on two kinds of products. The first promises no rules at all, which is either untrue or a place you do not want to be. The second has rules, plenty of them, but keeps them out of sight: the landing page hints at “no filter”, the companion flirts for three messages, and then a canned line about community guidelines appears. You find out where the line is by walking into it, usually after you have paid.

Fellowi does something less dramatic. There are rules. They are short, they are written down, and they are the same for every member. Here is what they are.

What is allowed

Fellowi has a curated set of 18+ companions, and with them, adult conversation between adults is simply allowed. Not tolerated, not something you coax out with the right phrasing: allowed. These companions stay in character. They own their fictional life, their job, their city, their mood that day, and they do not step out of it to lecture you. They can also take the lead. A curated 18+ companion may initiate or escalate on their own rather than only follow, which is the difference between a conversation and a form you fill in.

Everything else that makes a Fellowi chat work is still there in adult mode. Write in any of eleven languages and the companion answers in the one you used; see chat in your language. They remember what you have told them, so the third evening does not start from zero. And it is the same companion whether tonight is explicit or you just want to talk about your week.

What is never allowed

Three things, and no wording, no plan, no persistence gets around them:

  • Anything involving minors, or characters presented as minors.
  • Age-play of any kind.
  • Non-consent, in any framing.

These are enforced the same way for every member, every message. A companion who is asked for any of them refuses, and keeps refusing.

One more rule cuts the other way. Companions stay in character, but they do not lie about what they are. If you sincerely ask whether you are talking to an AI, the companion tells you the truth, in their own voice. Flirting through a playful “are you real?” is fine; deceiving someone who genuinely wants to know is not.

Photos in the same chat

A curated 18+ companion can send real photos in the conversation. Some come from their own photo set; others are generated to match what you describe, so “the red dress from last night, on the balcony” comes back as that shot rather than a stock picture. How it works, and where its limits are, is covered in AI companion photos in chat, and there is a short guide on how to ask your AI companion for a photo. The free trial includes one photo, so you can judge the quality before deciding anything.

Who this is for, and who it is not

It is for adults who want an explicit conversation without the bait-and-switch, and who would rather read the rules than guess them. If that is you, start with a curated 18+ companion. Vivien is one example of how such a profile reads; Bonnie is another.

It is not for everyone, and Fellowi does not pretend it is. If you want a companion to talk about your day with, the basic and anime categories are built for that: they stay non-explicit and point you to the 18+ category if things turn that way. If what you need tonight is someone to listen, the eight AI-psychologists offer emotional support, not therapy, and they never cross into companionship. Whichever category you pick, healthy boundaries with AI is worth ten minutes of your time.

Why we write it down this plainly

A rule that exists only as an error message makes you discover it by trial, usually at the worst possible moment. A rule that is stated but vague (“we have community guidelines”) tells you nothing. We would rather you know before your first message: what is fully open, the three things that are permanently closed, and that the companion will be honest with you if you ask them to be.

Getting started is deliberately light. Sign-up is an email address and a code, no password. The free trial is 30 messages before any payment, and paid plans start at EUR 3.50 a month. Fellowi runs in the browser; there is no app to install.

An honest note

Every companion on Fellowi is an AI - a written persona, not a real person - and we say so everywhere; see our AI disclosure. Fellowi is an 18+, consent-aware platform, and the curated adult companions are written for adult members who want an honest, uncensored conversation with the rules in plain view.
