Meet Director: Fellowi's Top Plan and Who It Is Actually For

Fellowi now has a fourth plan. It is called Director, it costs €59.99 a month, and it sits above Ultra Premium. Before you read another word: most people do not need it. This is a buyer’s guide, not a sales page, so we will tell you exactly what is in the box, do the arithmetic against buying coins instead, and be clear about the one kind of user it genuinely suits.

What Director includes

Director is Ultra Premium plus a video allowance, with the photo and creator limits raised:

• 15 AI videos per rolling 30 days - the headline feature. Each is a 4-second 720p clip with generated sound, made from a start image and a text prompt in Fellowi Video.
• 300 companion photos per 30 days- double Ultra Premium’s 150.
• 15 creator-avatar slots for companions you build yourself, up from 10.
• Group chats with two or three companions in one conversation (also available on Premium and Ultra Premium).
• Unlimited messages, like Premium and Ultra Premium.

The video allowance, precisely

The 15 videos are counted over a rolling 30-day window, and they do not roll over. If you make six in a month, the other nine are simply gone. A render that fails does not count; the slot comes straight back. And a video is a video regardless of what is in it: a clip from a photo you uploaded costs the same allowance as one made from an image you generated in the Photo tab.

Everything else about the feature is the same as it is for everyone. Rendering takes a few minutes, the page keeps polling until the clip is ready, and a page reload does not lose the job. If you have not tried it yet, our introduction to Fellowi Video walks through the first clip.

Is Director worth it, or should you just buy coins?

This is the question that matters, so here are the numbers. A video costs 500 Fellowi Coins when you pay for it outright. Fifteen videos is therefore 7,500 coins. The Pro pack gives you 6,750 coins for €19.99; add a Plus pack (1,250 coins, €3.99) and you have 8,000 coins for just under €24. Call it roughly €20 and change for a month of videos, and the coins never expire, so a quiet month costs you nothing.

Director, meanwhile, costs €30 more than Ultra Premium. So if video is the only reason you are looking at it, the honest answer is: do not upgrade. Buy coins. You will pay less, you will not lose unused videos at the end of the window, and you can stay on whatever plan you already have, or on none at all.

Where Director does make sense is for someone who already wants Ultra Premium - the 150-photo quota, the ten creator slots - and would also be making around a dozen or more videos a month anyway. For that person, the €30 step up buys roughly the same videos the coins would have, and throws in 150 extra photos and five more slots on top. That is a real deal. For anyone else it is an expensive way to buy coins.

Frequently asked questions

Do unused Director videos roll over?

No. The allowance is 15 per rolling 30 days, and anything unused at the end of that window is gone. Coins, by contrast, sit in your balance indefinitely.

What happens if a video render fails?

It never costs you anything. A failed render on Director returns the slot to your allowance; a failed render paid with coins refunds the coins.

Can I still buy coins on Director?

Yes. Coins are a separate balance. Once your 15 plan videos are used up, further videos are paid from coins at the normal 500 each, and the Photo tab in the studio always runs on coins.

Do I need Director for group chats?

No. Group chats come with Premium, Ultra Premium and Director. Only the video allowance, the 300-photo quota and the 15 slots are unique to Director.

Is there a free trial?

Every new account gets a 7-day free trial with 30 messages and one companion photo, plus 40 free coins in the studio. That is enough to test the product; it is not enough to test video, which needs 500 coins or a Director plan.
